1001 Vrouwen uit de Nederlandse geschiedenis
Bijzondere Collecties, Amsterdam—The Netherlands, 2013
with Irma Boom Office

1001 Vrouwen uit de Nederlandse geschiedenis is a research project by historian Els Koek, that culminated in a book designed by Irma Boom: it celebrates 1001 remarkable women in the history of The Netherlands from AD 300 until present day.
I worked on the design of the exhibition launching 1001 Vrouwen uit de Nederlandse geschiedenis at Bijzondere Collecties, University of Amsterdam. The display was a physical translation of the book with pink walls as pink pages and rooms as chapters. The book itself was dissected and displayed alongside projected images and objects relating to the 1001 women.
