Irma Boom — Ibo
De Buitenkant, Amsterdam—The Netherlands, 2015
360 pages — 15×21 cm

Since 1991, Irma Boom always had one or two assistants working at her office (Irma Boom Office), and I have been one of them.
In 2015, Akiko Wakabayashi, the designer working at IBO at the time, asked me and nine other former and current co-workers to put our personal views on the IBO design practice to paper – in our own words, design, and imagery.
Together we presented a remarkably intimate portrait of Irma Boom and her philosophy on work and design.
The book is in English and Japanese and was launched on the occasion of two exhibitions about Irma’s work in Tokyo, Japan. It is published by De Buitenkant (Amsterdam, The Netherlands).
